2012 Mac Pro Tower 24GB SSD Radeon 280X in Sunderland, Cumbria for sale
For sale is my 2012 Mac Pro tower. Perfect working order. Selling because my job now requires me to use Windows exclusively for software development; since I already have a Windows PC, this one is now redundant and I have been using it less and less over the past year to the point where it now has dust on it. Its kitted out to the nines. Original retail price plus upgrades was just over £3000. Would work very well as a bullet proof Mac workstation or Windows gaming machine. * 6-core (12 thread) Intel Xeon W3680 3.33GHz * 24GB of ECC Memory * 1x 128GB SSD * 2x 2TB Hard Disks (presently in a soft-RAID, will be reverted to two seperate disks once the OS has been reinstalled before collection) * 1x 1TB Hard Disk * AMD Radeon R9 280X GPU flashed with the correct Macintosh ROM (please note this card has a known bug with 4K output - it works best at 2560x1440). * OSX El Capitan Installed - macOS Sierra is supported on this machine. * Okay cosmetic condition. Some scratches and finger prints from where it has been moved around the house from room to room. Collection only. This thing weighs just over 20kg and is an absolute tank. Postage is unjustifiable (and near impossible as I don't have a box big or strong enough to hold it). Looking for £1000, but please feel free to make an offer. Cash in person is welcome - however I'd much rather we meet at a local bank (Barclays) to transfer money in person with receipts.
